Opening Hours and Calendar

  • February 17th to March 31st – Wednesday to Sunday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm;

  • April 1st to July 12th – Every day from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm;

  • July 13th to August 25th – Every day from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm;

  • August 26th to November 3rd – Every day from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm;

  • November 4th to December 15th – Wednesday to Sunday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

    We are closed from late December to mid-February.

Admission Fees and Booking

  • Adult: €12.50 (from July 13 to August 28: €14 / €12.50 for students upon presentation of a student card);

  • Teenager 15-17: €10;

  • Child 8-14: €7.50;

  • Disabled visitor: €7.50 (upon presentation of valid documentation, available exclusively at the ticket office);

  • Child 0-7: free;

  • Licensed guide: free (upon presentation of a professional card).

Group Visits: Pricing, Payment Methods, and Booking

  • Adults: €9 per person (from 20 people)

  • School-aged children: €7 per person

  • Preschoolers: €3 per person (please contact us via email to book)

  • Disabled: €7.50 per person, carers free (please contact us via email to book)

Payment can be made in cash, by credit card, or by check at the ticket office, as well as by bank transfer or administrative order before or after your visit.

You also have the option to book a guided tour with a member of Jardins d’Étretat team (reservation required). Rate: €70 for a group of up to 20 people. For groups larger than 20, please contact us.

Taking photos and videos in Jardins d’Étretat

Visitors are welcome to take photographs and videos for personal use. Professional photo shoots (both non-commercial and commercial) require special authorisation:

  • Non-commercial professional shoots (weddings, portraits, etc.): €120. Permission for shooting can be acquired at the ticket office.

  • Commercial shoots (advertising, fashion editorial, etc.): invoice provided upon request. Please contact us at least one week before the scheduled shooting date.

Drone filming within the Garden territory is not allowed.

Accessibility

The Amont Cliff is accessible on foot. You have several options:

  • Take the stairs from the beach towards the Chapel (for the more hardy);

  • Go through Jules Gerbeau Street from the town center (the fastest route, but the slope is quite steep);

  • Take the Damilaville Avenue from the train station parking lot (the longest route, but easily accessible for bicycles, scooters, and strollers);

  • Take a ride on the little train that stops in front of the town hall and takes you to the garden entrance (check with the town hall for schedules)

Jardins d’Étretat are located on the protected natural site of Amont Cliff, hence vehicle access and parking are prohibited.

Here are the parking options if you wish to park in Étretat:

  • Plage d’Etretat / Place de la Mairie / Place de Gaulle / Place de la gare –15 minutes walk from Jardins d’Étretat (due to the large number of visitors, it's best to arrive in the morning);

  • Grand Val Parking – 20 minutes walk from Jardins d’Étretat;

  • Grand Free Parking of Criquetot l’Esneval – 29 minutes walk from Jardins d’Étretat.

On-Site Services

Within Jardins d’Étretat, you will find restrooms, a café (open between late March and late October), as well as a souvenir shop located inside the Belle Époque villa "La Roxelane".
