Jardins d’Étretat has once again been awarded the prestigious “Remarkable Garden” label by the Prefect of the Normandy Region, valid for the next seven years. Granted by the French Ministry of Culture, this distinction celebrates the site’s outstanding landscape, artistic vision, and botanical excellence.

In its decision, the Regional Directorate for Cultural Affairs highlighted “the garden’s brilliant use of its steep topography to create striking visual effects and perspectives,” and praised “the successful integration of multiple artworks and the significant improvement of visitor experience since 2019.”

This renewed recognition reaffirms Jardins d’Étretat’s place among France’s most inspiring cultural and landscape landmarks — a living dialogue between art and nature.
